Tasks

Seeing a clear outline of your completed and uncompleted tasks will help you feel organized and stay mentally focused.

Intreducing to Tasks!

A Task is an item that you create that you want to track until it's completed.

Tasks are available for agents/brokers and the their agencies staff members.

Tasks are shown on the Dashboard (the most recent ten are shown). A link to all Tasks is also available at the dashboard top navigation.

You can attach documents to your Tasks, helping you find the specific document that related to your Task and making document exchange a secure transaction. Documents can than be viewed securely through the Tasks view.

Manage/View your Tasks

You may view Tasks in many ways..

  • All Tasks

    To view and manage your Tasks, select the navigation pane Tasks icon » Open to view all Tasks.

  • Application/Quotes/Policy Tasks

    To view and manage your Application/Quotes/Policy Tasks, select the navigation pane Application/Quotes/Policy icon » Open to view all Application/Quotes/Policy. Click on Application/Quotes/Policy » Tasks tab

  • Insured Tasks

    To view and manage your Insured specific Tasks. Select the navigation pane Insureds icon » Open to view all Insureds. Click on the Insureds legael name » Tasks tab

The Tasks page includes a filter where you can nerrow your search by.. Priority (Tasks can be labeled Low, Medium, or High priority for task list sorting purposes), Status (Tasks can be Open, Reopened, In Progress, Completed), Created Date.

In Tasks list view you can nerrow your filter by.. Created Date, User name, Subject, Due date, Priority, Status, Type.

There are different ways to use Tasks

  • General Task.
  • Application/Quotes/Policy Task.
  • Insured Task.

Creating a Task

You can create new Task from several areas within the CMS.

  • General Task
    • From the navigation pane Tasks icon » Add task.
    • You see the Task form. This form has places where you can enter all kinds of information about your task.
    • Enter the Subject
    • Enter Start and Due date and Time
    • Priority
    • Status
    • Assign task
      • Individual Task. Assign a task to yourself. By default all Tasks are assigned to you.
      • Assign a Task to other agency memeber by clicking on the Add symbol and chosing the agent memeber that you wish to assign the Task to. When assigning a Task to other agency you will have the folloings as an option..
        • Keep an upload copy on this task on my task list.
        • Send me a status report when this task is complete.
    • Notes where you can describe the Task's details.
    • Upload files
    • Click the Save when you finish entering the Task.
  • Application/Quotes/Policy
    • From the Application/Quotes/Policy Tasks tab » Add task.

You may Append a Task by adding Notes, and assign a Date and a Time along with the ability to upload new documents.

Tasks can be Reassigned, Voided, and set as Complete.
